C & F Incoterms. See CFR

CFR Incoterms. Cost and Freight (CFR) indicates the seller is to pay the costs to bring the goods to the named destination, but the risk of loss or damage to the goods are transferred from seller to buyer when the goods pass the ship"s rail at the port of shipment. Buyer pays for insurance. Seller clears the goods for export. CFR is one of thirteen Incoterms. CFR is part of the C-Group. CFP is AKA C & F. C-Group Incoterms. Incoterms in the C-Group indicate that the seller will arrange and pay for most of the freight charges up to the foreign country. Incoterms in the C-Group are CFR, CIF, CPT, and CIP. [PO]    [Change] [Delete]

CIF Incoterms. Cost, Insurance, and Freight (CIF) is the same as CFR but also adds to it that the seller pays for the insurance against the risk of loss or damage to goods during transportation. CIP Incoterms. Freight/Carriage and Insurance Paid To (CIP) is the same as CPT but also adds that the seller pays for the insurance against the risk of loss or damage to goods during transportation. Cost Insurance and Freight Incoterms. See CIF

CPT Incoterms. Freight/Carriage Paid To (CPT) is where the seller pays the freight (the carriage) for the goods to the named destination. When goods are delivered to the carrier, the risk of loss or damages passes from the seller to the buyer. Seller clears the goods for export. CPT is one of thirteen Incoterms. DAF Incoterms. Delivered At Frontier (DAF) indicates the seller pays the cost and bears the risk in delivering the goods up to frontier but before the customs border. The buyer must arrange and pay for the goods to clear customs. DAF is one of thirteen Incoterms. DAF is part of the D-Group. AKA Delivered at Frontier.  See also D-Group, [PO]    [Change] [Delete]

DDP Incoterms. Delivered/Duty Pay (DDP) indicates the seller bears all costs and risks, including clearing goods for import and duty costs. Buyer is responsible for unloading. DDP is one of thirteen Incoterms. DDP is part of the D-Group. DDP is the extreme case - where seller bears costs & risks as much as possible. DDU Incoterms. Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) indicates the seller bears the costs & risks for getting the goods to the destination. Buyer is responsible for unloading, clearing goods for import, and applicable duty costs. DDU is one of thirteen Incoterms. DDU is part of the D-Group. Delivery/Duty Pay Incoterms. See DDP

DEQ Incoterms. Delivered Ex-Quay (DEQ) is where the seller delivers the goods to the quay (wharf) of the destination. Seller bears full costs and the risks to this point including the unloading. DES Incoterms. Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) is where the seller has the goods put on the ship and the seller bears the cost & risks of the goods getting to the named destination. D-Group Incoterms. Incoterms in the D-Group indicate that the seller will pay for most of the delivery charges to the destination country. Incoterms in the D-Group are DAF, DES, DEQ, DDU, and DDP. [PO]    [Change] [Delete]

E-Group Incoterms. Incoterms in the E-Group indicate that the seller does not arrange transport. Buyer bears the full costs and risks from seller"s premises to the desired destination. Incoterms in the E-Group are EXW. [PO]    [Change] [Delete]

EXW Incoterms. Ex-Works (EXW) indicates that the seller has minimum obligation. The buyer will bear full cost and risks to pick-up product at seller"s premises to the final destination. EXW is one of thirteen Incoterms. EXW is part of the E-Group. See also E-Group, [PO]    [Change] [Delete]

Ex-Works Incoterms. See F-Group

FAS Incoterms. Free Alongside Ship (FAS) indicates that the seller is to deliver the goods alongside the ship at a designated port. The buyer is responsible for the goods from this point forward, as well as the cost of loading the goods unto the ship. Seller clears the goods for export. FAS is one of thirteen Incoterms. FCA Incoterms. Free Carrier (FCA) is where thee seller fulfils its obligations when the goods are delivered to the custody of the carrier at a named point. Once the carrier takes delivery, the risk of damage or loss to the goods becomes the buyer"s responsibility. FCA is one of thirteen Incoterms. FCA is part of the F-Group. F-Group Incoterms. Incoterms in the F-Group indicate that the seller will arrange some transport within the seller"s country. Incoterms in the F-Group are FCA, FAS, and FOB. AKA Ex-Works.  [PO]    [Change] [Delete]
