Entering an order into a live production application software system to see if a problem exists and/or if a problem has been resolved. These test runs can also be run on a test system. 5. Pro-Forma Invoice (P/I, PFI)    [Change] [Delete]
The Pro-Forma invoice is a legal document for international shipments for non-documents between the supplier and the customer. The Pro-Forma Invoice is used for the customs in the country of destination to determine the customs value. This document is issued by seller/exporter in foreign trade showing quantity, description of goods, commodity code, country of origin, price, terms of sale, weight, full name/address of purchaser, name/address of seller, and date. It is common for 3 or 4 copies of the Pro-Forma Invoice to be attached to the shipment to assist in clearing customs. In a test mode, the new application software is setup, configured, and workflows are attempted.   This "finalization" of the application software is done in the conference room pilot, as a variety of key people (and regular workers) are utilized to validate the configurations.
